HIGHLINE Milano, formerly known as Highline Galleria, is a unique pedestrian walkway located on the roof of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, right in the heart of Milan. Open to visitors since May 2015, this 250-meter path offers unparalleled views of Piazza Duomo, Milan Cathedral, and the city skyline.
What Awaits You at HIGHLINE Milano?
A Bit of History and Future Plans
The project was made possible thanks to the Seven Stars Galleria hotel and the AlessandroRosso Group agency, under the supervision of the Milan authorities. The route also includes a museum that showcases the history of Milan and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.
By 2025, the completion of additional project phases is planned, including the opening of six “Clouds” – relaxation lounges adorned with designer furniture and art. A 200 m² ArtSpace exhibition area, a shop, and a rooftop terrace offering views of Piazza Duomo from 60 meters above ground are also in the works.
Currently, visitors can walk along six platforms (skywalk & clouds), enjoying exceptional views. The new entrance to HIGHLINE is in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II (number 11/12), where an elevator takes you to the sixth floor.

I lived in Milan for 18 years, and it was there that I came to know the city’s daily life best - not just its landmarks, but also its rhythm, its habits, and its less obvious sides. Today I live in Wrocław, but I still return to Milan regularly.
